Master of Design
I was born and raised on a wheat farm in the Spokane area and have lived in the Seattle area for only a couple of years. I think the creative side of me started at a very young age as I was always designing and building things as a kid. After getting a degree in Fire Science I tranferred to Washington State University where I completed my Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture. After designing high-end landscapes for several years I changed my focus to graphic design. I enjoy the field of signs and visual arts as it encompasses a variety of design fields including environmental graphics, landscape design, graphic design and even architecture. In addition to designing I had a 30 year career in the fire service including deputy fire chief, volunteer firefighter and fire investigator until moving to the Monroe area to join NW Signs. My role at Northwest Sign & Design is to create dynamic visual communication solutions and outstanding designs that will blow your socks off, while making a positive first impression with customers.
